The training is designed and delivered by Christopher Warren (qualified trainer and assessor (Certificate IV), Professor Harold Goodwin and Dr Rebecca Hawkins, who together combine to offer world leading expertise in responsible tourism.
The training programmes following standards set by the Australian Quality Training Framework where integrated learning programmes are linked with assessment plans. Content reflects Responsible Tourism criteria in line with the Cape Town Declaration (2002), and UN Global Code of Ethics for Tourism and are design specifically for the destination and student profile therefore creating unique practical training and assessment content, .
The ICRT provides Vocational Education Training that follows the Australian Qualifications Framework using Units of Competency that detail competency requirements. The ICRT is an independent training organisation and not part of any university, government institution or RTO. We do provide training and assessment for clients and students around the world. These training packages can include Units of Competency which comply with sustainable tourism codes and benchmarks from certified tourism organisations.
